Iron hilt, the wooden grip covered in black leather. Curved, fullered back-edged blade with Austrian double-headed eagle engraved on both sides. Illegible marking of the bladesmith on the spine.

With original iron scabbard on two suspension rings. Somewhat dented.

Very fine and rare Austrian edged weapon of the 18th century.
