In the original, official presentation silver frame, hand-hammered, with three-tiered profile edge and applied national eagle (Hoheitsadler) with the initials “A H”, framed by a meander band.
On the lower edge with hallmark “FHW” of the jewelers Franz and Hermann Wandinger, Munich. Fineness hallmark “925” as well as the city mark of Munich.
The silver frame completely undamaged, with beautiful patina.
Reverse side in brown morocco leather with stand support.

In original presentation case of red morocco leather. The lid with national eagle (Hoheitsadler) in gold embossing. Interior with dark red velvet lining and recess for the stand. Signed on the inside back: “FRIEDA THIERSCH”.

Extraordinarily significant presentation frame as given by Hitler to highest dignitaries of State and Party but also to foreign state guests, highest representatives of the Wehrmacht as well as occasionally to prominent personalities of art and culture.
According to the archive of Prof. Gerdy Troost, only 100 examples of these valuable presentation frames were produced.
