Rich arabesque decoration and figural representation of mythical creatures, medallions with various Hercules scenes, female and male herms, masks, trophies of arms and the coats of arms of the cities of Brescia and Trento. The hilt with a particularly vividly sculpted depiction of a bacchanalian scene. Hilt and quillons with heads of mythical creatures. Fluted double-edged blade with iron carving and decoration of masks and arabesques in feisty iron carving on both sides. On the obverse the inscription: "NON TI FIDAR DI ME XX". On the back: "XX SE Il COR TI MANCA". On both sides the motto: "IHS" (IN HOC SIGNO VINCES). Important ceremonial weapon of the finest iron-cut quality in the style of the Italian Renaissance, or Mannerism of the 16th century. Total length: 137 cm, the blade 108 cm.
