456.2 Marine - SA Dolch, M33.

  Nickel silver finish. The black wooden grip with inlaid sovereign eagle and enameled SA emblem. The front lower guard engraved with the name "Günther Deutschmann". On the reverse lower quillons the engraved territorial inscription: "Sa" (Saxony). Blade with etched motto "Alles für Deutschland". On the reverse side the maker's mark of the company C.G. Haenel, Suhl. Black lacquered iron scabbard with silver plated fittings. The upper fitting engraved on the front: "3 M 35" (3. Sturm Marinestandarte 35). On the reverse side: "Kö / 11.6.35". With leather hilt. Very nice, interesting dagger. The Marine - SA had daggers with black grip and black painted scabbard only until the year 1935. From 1936 the standard SA - dagger was worn without any special distinguishing features. Extremely rare , early blank weapon.
