These standards were not produced in a regulated form like the Wehrmacht regimentaln standards, but were commissioned by different manufacturers depending on the occasion and significance.
Therefore, there are a number of very different versions ranging from the simple linen styles for ships and boats to the smaller embroidered styles used on the wreath bows for state funerals.

The standard features a black, upright swastika with white edges on a white circular field with interwoven silver-plated bullion threads. It is surrounded by a highly vaulted embroidered oak leaf wreath with overlapping oak leaves made of gold-plated bullion and silver threads in different shades.
In each corner of the standard there are two gold embroidered Wehrmacht - Eagles and two gold embrpidered NSDAP party eagles.
