  Trapezoidal hanging, possibly made for one of the Reich Party Rallies in Nuremberg. The sovereign eagle with outstretched wings in fine, gilded metal thread embroidery on a red cloth background. The design of the cloth backing suggests that it is part of an even larger overall emblem, possibly created for one of the large buildings or grandstands of the Nuremberg Party Rally grounds. In this imposing size, an impressive historical object of the greatest rarity.
