193 Table decoration in the form of a tank.

Steel model with pivoting turret. Mounted diagonally on a contemporary wooden base. Brass plate on the base with the inscription: "Lehrwerkstätte Nibelungenwerk".

Very beautifully crafted piece, presumably for presentation to high-ranking visitors to the Nibelungenwerk.

The Nibelungenwerk in St. Valentin, Lower Austria, was the largest and most modern tank assembly plant in the German Reich. The factory, which at that time belonged to the armament concern Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, produced more than half of all Panzerkampfwagen IV until the end of the Second World War.

130 x 75 mm.
