356 Sword of an admiral of the Navy of the Kingdom of Two Sicilies, 1st half 19th century.

 The hilt fire-gilt, the pommel with trophies of arms, palmettes and laurel wreath. Fine mother-of-pearl grip scales. The guard with anchor resting on crossed flags within oak and laurel leaves.

Double-edged blade blued on both sides in the upper quarter with gilt etched decoration. Manufacturer's signature "S & K" on the front ricasso. Original leather scabbard with fire-gilt engraved fittings.

Beautiful and very rare edged weapon.
