271 Large KPM (Royal Prussian Porcelaine Manufacturer) Porcelain Vase.

  Blue glazed porcelain with rich gilding and colored painting. The gilded handles as griffin heads. On the front depiction of a Kontor - building with black-white-red flag of the German Empire. Above gilded inscription: "Mr / Johann Heinrich Ludwig / Adloff and wife / Johanna Mathilde Georgine / née Dammann / dedicated by the College of Officials / of the Lodge to the Golden Globe". The reverse side with depiction of a stately building of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

In the bottom blue manufactory mark "KPM" with the Prussian eagle.

Adloff, Johann Heinrich Ludwig was vice president of the Hamburg Parliament and restaurateur (born 24.11.1831 Hamburg, died 06.01.1899).

Very rare and extremely imposing, large KPM - vase with reference to the Bürgerschaft and Freemasonry.
