Beautiful, very finely executed miniature of a reclining female nude from the 1st half of the 19th century.

The iconography goes back to Titian's famous painting and was subsequently taken up and copied by many artists.

In a contemporary round gold frame with embedded small pearls. The reverse with a glazed medallion with blue moiré silk.

Very nice quality.
