  The bunting made of fine silk in the colors of the tricolor: blue-white-red. On the front in gold lettering the designation: "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE 1er. RÈGIMENT D'INFANTERIE DE MARINE".

In each corner within gold laurel / oak wreaths the regimental number: "1er."

The reverse with gold inscription: "HONNEUR ET PATRIE" , below the battle designations: "PEI-HO / HI-HOA / PUÉBLA". In the corners within golden laurel / oak wreaths each the regimental number: "1er".

Exceptionally rare regimental flag. Gold lettering partially flaked, colors somewhat faded.
