19 Hohenlohe: Order of Phenix.

 Knight's breast badge, gold and enamel. On long, narrow original ribbon of fine moiré silk. With fluted ring. The medallions are made of several parts and are underlaid with flame bundles chased from very thin gold sheet. The obverse center with the phoenix in fine enamel painting. The order's motto " EX / FLAM / CLA / RIOR" painted in gold letters on the white enameled cross arms of the obverse.

Splendid example of this merit class of the Order of the Phoenix, ca. 1820.
