283 Officer's presentation lighter from the Kaiser Alexander Guards Grenadier Regiment No. 1 in the form of a bursting grenade.

Silver. The burning grenade worked as a "lighter" on three claw feet on a black marble base. The front with the engraved regimental emblem, the crowned cipher of Tsar Alexander I, of Russia.

On the upper rim recesses for filling with oil or spirit. At the upper part of the flame a removable stick for lighting.

In the bottom of the grenade manufacturer's mark "OTTO SCHNEIDER" and silver stamp "800". Crown and half moon.

Beautiful regimental silver presentation object of fine quality.
