Brass hilt with a leather-covered wooden grip (missing parts). Single-edged blade. The inscription "FRINGIA" engraved on the obverse side. The reverse with stars and a crescent moon. With maker's signature "Pottenstein".

Smooth brass scabbard on two suspension rings. Drag iron magnetic.

Very beautiful typical cavalry sabre of the 18th century.
