331 Radiator mascot for a Mercedes limousine with NSKK Eagle.

 The radiator mascot and the tank cap in non-magnetic finish, chrome-plated. The swastika and the letters "N.S.K.K." painted black. The sovereign eagle with RZM - mark and "D.R.G.M." on the back.

Height: 175 mm. Diameter: 120 mm.

In 1936, Department G 13 of the Reichszeugmeisterei lists a total of 11 companies that produced radiator figures, badges and pennant poles for the RZM.


Very beautiful and decorative object, probably for the vehicle of a high NSKK leader. The use of such radiator mascots is documented by contemporary photos, e.g. on a Mercedes sports car of Eva Braun.

This object was captured on 4 May 1945 in one of the garages of the Berghof in Berchtesgaden by a member of the 12e Régiment de Cuirassier, 2e DB of General Leclerc.
