Comes with award certificate to Obergrenadier, Dellhammer 8th/Gren.Rgt 338 dated 28.4.1944, with original signature of the commander of the 208th Inf.Div, Major General Pieckennbrock.

On the reverse handwritten remarks "Wounded on 6 February (shot in the head) / Operated on 12 February / Died on 24 February / My everything was taken from me".
