70 Iron Cross 1st Class by Souval "L/58".

Iron Cross 1st Class 1939. The frame and the pin system are made of solid silver. The core non magnetic. The pin is marked “935” for the silver content and “R-S” and “L/58” for the company of Rudolf Souval, Wien.

Onl very few examples known. A similar piece  is published in "The Iron Cross 1. Class" by Dietrich Maerz/Georg Simson, Richmond, 2010, page 360. Another example is published in "Das Eiserne Kreuz von 1813 bis heute" by Harald Geißler, Norderstedt, 1995, page 152.

An extremely rare example in excellent condition.
