Silver, the separately applied cross of the order and the ciphers gold and enamel. Reverse fitted with pin for wearing. On the back the maker's label "P. WILLET IN CARLSRUHE" and engraving: "von Papa P. Carl getr.".

A magnificent example of the finest goldsmith's workmanship by the Baden court jeweller Willet, circa 1820 - 1830.

This star originates from the Prussian royal family and was worn by Prince Friedrich Carl of Prussia, later field marshal.
