53 Order of the German Eagle: Award case for the 2nd level, 1st model (pin cross)

Original case of the 1st model. On the domed red lid a gold embossed sovereign eagle in large version - inner part with black velvet inlay. The white artificial silk lining of the inner lid with gold-stamped inscription: "ORDEN vom Deutschen Adler / Verdienstkreuz 2.Stufe".

Inside hinge cover somewhat torn, tiny, minimal loss on the lid, otherwise in excellent condition.

Like all cases of the 1st model, very rare.
