Gold and enamel, without ribbon. The motto of the order ""FÜR BADENS EHRE" and the cipher of the founder of the order "CF" on the medallions in gold painting. The griffin of Baden on the front medallion is separately applied in silver. The crown in a particularly domed design and finely chiselled.

Beautifully crafted reduction of the Order's cross in the finest quality. From the time of the order's foundation, around 1807 / 1815.
