38 Prussia: Ulanen Tschapka from a Landwehr regiment, 1843 - 1862.

Helmet skull made of black lacquered leather, as are the front peak and lid. With white parade tab and lanyard. Gilt star emblem on the front with silver-plated Landwehr cross with the inscription in Gothic script: "Mit Gott für König und Vaterland 1813". Complete with parade cord of white woollen thread.

Inner part with original, lashed leather lining.

Very beautiful, early Tschapka in good condition.
