236 Deutsches Kreuz in Gold verliehen an Feldwebel Richard Bock (Luftwaffe9 am 19.1.1942.

Non-ferrous metal finish. The wreath is gold-plated and underlaid with red enamel. The swastika enamelled in black.

On a short broad pin. On the back 6 ball head full rivets. With carrier engraving "Richard Bock".

Very early manufacture of the company Deschler & Sohn, Munich.

Comes with a printed award list naming Oberfeldwebel Bock as well as various bearer photos. One photo with the German Cross in gold as well as several in the circle of comrades and in front of the Heinkel He 111.

Oberfeldwebel Bock was awarded the German Cross in Gold on 25 January 1942 and served in the 3rd Squadron of Group I, Fighter Wing 55.

In addition to the EK I and EK II and the golden Frontflugspange, he was awarded the Luftwaffe Cup of Honour on 23 May 1941 (photo of his cup attached).

Beautiful, much worn original copy. The black enamel has a few scratches due to wear, but no chipped enamel.
