178 1941 Hitler Youth Swimming Competition Award.

Gilded tombak award features enameled construction and wide pin to reverse. The HJ golden eagle is separately applied.


With the corresponding award certificate for 1st Place in the swimming discipline medley relay (Wera) Schäferkordt, Germany. 


The certificate features a presentation folder made of linen, the cover with embossed HJ Golden Eagle. The two paged document features the portrait of the Reich youth leader Artur Axmanns and a colored Illustration of the 1st Place badge as well as double sided . With original signature of the HJ Stabsfuhrer. Measures 345 x 255 mm.


This competition took place as part of the 5th summer competition of the HJ in Breslau 25 - 31 August 1941. This international competition included Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Belgium (Flemish NS youth), Italy, Slovakia and Hungary.


Extremely rare specimen with only two original examples known to exist, certainly one of the rarest awards of the Hitler Youth.
