90 Garde du Corps Regiment Officer's Parade Helmet with Standing Crowned Eagle.
Last model features elegant tall helmet body with long "lobster tail" neck guard.The body of the helmet features silver trim and rivets. The parade eagle of exceptional chased quality and especially impressive. Helmet body is extremely thin and features attractive gilding: a deluxe model! Back of helmet body features a distinctive silhouette for attaching the eagle. The eagle retains most of its original factory applied silver frosty finish and is attached to a cruciform base. The gilded crown of superior quality and features screw post for removal.
Front of the helmet features a separately applied highly vaulted, multi-piece enameled Black Eagle Order medallion (Gardestar).
Applied to the front of the helmet are vaulted chin scales attached to cruciform devices. The left side of the helmet features the Prussian coackade and the right side features the Reichs cockade. The convex chin scales are attached to an intersecting clover device.
Interior features officer quality light brown leather lining. The front interior visor features embossed green leather and the the neck guard features a black velvet interior lining.
An unmolested, in all parts original, superbly conditioned helmet.
