Order features gold and enamel craftsmanship with beautiful original sash made of the finest moiré silk. Magnificent specimen of Sicilian production in the finest jeweller quality. The medallions in three parts.

This military order, founded in 1819, was rarely awarded, especially in the higher classes. Only a few crosses are known of in private collections.
