Gold, on a beautiful sewn ribbon. The genuine gold medals were awarded exclusively to royalty who had taken part in the anniversary celebrations. According to Nimmergut, there were 43 awards.

The company B.H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt minted and delivered 44 copies, all but one of which were issued.
