Certificate from the Pillau/Hörnum Prize Court on Sylt stating that the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded and presented to the lieutenant commander on 20 April 1945. With the original signature of a lieutenant (AMD) and adjutant (Note: Towards the end of the war, it was difficult to send a provisional certificate of ownership to the recipient. After that, simple proofs were issued as confirmation of the award).
