93 Degen aus dem Besitz König Ferdinanf IV. von Neapel - Sizilien (1759 - 1825).

The hilt made of finely cut diamond-polished steel with inlaid marcasite stones. Partially gilded. The inside of the guard plate with a gilded laurel wreath.

Three-sided blade with gilded decorative etching on both sides in the upper area.

Fine white leather scabbard with iron mountings. The obverse side bears a fleur-de-lis finial. The reverse side of the upper mounting displays a portrait of King Ferdinand IV etched in gold, together with the cipher ‘F.IV’.

The scabbard is broken in one place.

An especially elegant, finely crafted rapier of the very finest quality.
