71 Hannover: Infanterie - Offiziers - Pickelhaube, 1847 - 1859.

Tall leather skull complete with gilded fittings. The Hannoverian horse applied to the front is silver-plated. Below that, a gilded band reading ‘WATERLOO’. Cross-shaped plate with a smooth point and a ventilation mechanism. Long neck rail on the back. Convex gilded metal chinscales. Cockade in the colours of the state of Hannover on the left.

All the iron nuts on the inside. The inside of the front peak is lined with green leather.

A rare, untouched helmet.
