Tombac helmet skull with silver-plated mountings. Silver-plated disc with four cotter pins and service spike. Silver-plated star with gilded Saxon coat of arms on the front, domed yellow chinscales on the crew cockades and button 91.
Inner part with lashed black leather lining. The inscription "C. 2 135 III" stamped into the rail of the green lacquered front peak.
