Black lacquered leather skull with gilt fittings. Front-mounted eagle with outstretched wings and applied silver star with Landwehr cross. Flat yellow scale chin chains. On the left the Imperial cockade, on the right the Prussian cockade (officer's versions). Top plate with gilt stars (2 missing). Spike missing. Visors red-green. Original light brown leather sweatband and silk rep lining.

Very fine, untouched pickelhaube.
