Black lacquered leather skull with gilt fittings. Front-mounted Prussian eagle with bandeau “MIT GOTT FÜR FÜRST UND VATERLAND” (With God for Prince and Fatherland). Mounted thereon is a silvered and gilt enameled star of the Brunswick House Order of Henry the Lion. The translucent red enamel of the medallion with finely engine-turned background. The blue enamel of the cross arms with minimal chipping.

Flat yellow scale chains at Reich and Brunswick cockades respectively.

Yellow top disk with stars and smooth, exceptionally tall spike.

Interior with original light silk rep lining and light brown leather sweatband.

Untouched magnificent example of finest quality and very good condition. Very rare in this quality.
