Black lacquered leather skull with silver-plated fittings. Front-mounted Baden griffin with bandeau “MIT GOTT FÜR FUERST UND VATERLAND” (With God for Prince and Fatherland). Mounted upon it a silver-plated and gilt enameled star of the Baden House Order of Fidelity. The translucent red enamel of the cross arms with finely engine-turned background. The enamel of the cross arms chipped in places.

Flat yellow scale chains at Reich and Baden cockades respectively.

White disc on top with gilt stars and smooth spike.

Interior with original green ribbed silk lining and light brown leather sweatband.

Untouched magnificent example in finest quality and good condition. Very rare in this quality.
