Embossed gold-plated scale chains with leather backing on large coat-of-arms rosettes.
Fine dark brown silk lining (slightly frayed) and a dark brown leather sweatband with multiple embossed details. With drawstring.
Original tall helmet case made of dark brown linen with leather trim. Striped linen lining on the inside. Hinged lid with leather carrying handle and fastening straps. Inside the lid, a compartment for holding the cartridge box, lined with red velvet or green felt. On the front of the case, a metal plaque with the inscription: “Deutsches Reichs Patent No. 122703 Patent - Koffer”.
Bell slightly tarnished due to age; minimal, barely visible old solder repair on the visor. Overall, a flawless helmet in beautiful overall condition.
A very beautiful specimen of great rarity.
