Personal visor cap of General Augusto Pinochet, dictator of Chile from 1973 - 1990.

Made of grey cloth with laurel branches embroidered in gilded bullion metal threads on the front peak. Edge of the visor in grey lacquered leather. The emblem is also embroidered in silver and gold plated metal threads. Original lining with plastic diamond and brown leather sweatband with silver embossed name: "ESCUELA MILITAR".

Extremely rare personal peaked visor cap of Pinochet as commander-in-chief of the Chilean armed forces.
