  Unusually beautiful and finely crafted cartouche box made of silver with applied gilded Grand Ducal Baden coat of arms. Silver mark "13" (Löth) and maker's mark "ID" on the sides. Lining and back made of fine red leather. The bandolier with silver clasps and applied silver coat of arms cartouche with the crowned cipher "L" Grand Duke Leopold of Baden and medallion with gilded lion's head. The back of the bandelier made of silver-plated metal threads with fine red leather cover. Magnificent and very rare piece for a high officer. Trace of a saber cut on the side, adding to the charm of the object. Otherwise in first class condition.
