109 Silver Presentation dagger of the Blackshirts of Genoa to the Party Secretary of the P.N.F. Achile Starache.

 The grip and the guard silver. The grip in the shape of the flamed lictor bundle. The pommel on the front with the fascist coat of arms of the city of Genoa. On the reverse date: "A.VII. E.F." (year 7seven of the fascist era = 1929).

The quillons in the form of eagle heads with medallions on both sides. On the obverse the inscription: "ACHILLE STARACE", the reverse with dedication: "LE CAMICE NERE GENOVESI". With engraved date "28. X. 1929".

Double-edged blade, fullered in the centre. In the original red velvet case with cream-coloured lining.

Enclosed is a small card with the national coat of arms of fascist Italy embossed in gold and handwritten inscription: "Pugnale S.E. / A. Starace".

Achille Starace (* 18 August 1889 in Sannicola; † 29 April 1945 in Milan) was an Italian fascist politician. He was party secretary of the Partito Nazionale Fascista (PNF) from 1931 to 1939.

Particularly fine, hand crafted dagger of outstanding quality.
