Honour dagger of the Red Army, presented to the President of the Soviet of the People's Republic of Mongolia, Jambyn Batmonkh by the delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the USSR on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the "Victory over militaristic Japan", 2 September 1975.

Brass - gilded with wooden handle. The pommel bears the Soviet star and the coat of arms of the USSR.

Double-edged plain blade with maker's mark and number. Black leather scabbard with gilt brass fittings. The upper front fitting on the obverse with the Soviet star, on the back the tower of the Kremlin. On two suspension rings.

Original polished wooden case with engraved dedication plate. Red velvet inlay. Finely engraved metal clasps.

Exceptionally rare presentation dagger of outstanding quality.
