28 Order of the Garter: Embroidered Breast Star.

Silver lantern and silver sequins, the medallion in special curved embroidery quality. The St. George's cross in red velvet, the order motto "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" on blue velvet background.

Rare example from the end of the 18th century, or the beginning of the 19th century in the finest embroidery quality and especially measured by the age of good condition.

Minor damage  at the tips of the rays. Since in Great Britain since the late 18th century mainly metal stars were worn, embroidered copies have survived only in relatively small numbers.
