210 Presentation Dagger to the Secretary General of the Italian Facist Party (1925 - 1926) Roberto Farinacci.
The handle and the guard made of silver in one piece. Fluted handle, the pommel as a sculptured lion's head. The quillons with spreading eagle heads, in the center escutcheon with the lictor bundle, the symbol of Italian fascism. Three swords within a laurel wreath on the reverse. The lower end of the quillons has a foam mark (with Fasco) and silver stamp "800".
Double-edged blade with inscription on both sides. The obverse: "A SUA ECCELENZA ROBERTO FARINNACI / LE CAMICIE NERE DELLA REGIONE ROMANA MUTILATI / ROMA XXXVIII - X - MCMXXXVI".
On the reverse: "SANGUINEM PRO PATRIA PROFUNDERE". The scabbard silver. On the front engraved fascist emblem and the inscription: "TUTTI PER IL DUCE / IL DUCE PER LA VITTORIA". On the back carrying handle and silver stamp "800" and acceptance mark.
Roberto Farinacci (* October 16, 1892 in Isernia, Molise; † April 28, 1945 in Vimercate, Lombardy) was an Italian lawyer, journalist and fascist politician. From 1925 to 1926 he was secretary general of the Partito Nazionale Fascista. In the 1920s, Farinacci, through his anti-Semitic attitudes, was able to influence the propaganda of the PNF and was one of the best known anti-Semites, along with Interlandi and Preziosi.
