217 Iron Cross 1st Class by Souval "L/58".

Iron Cross 1st Class 1939. All parts are made of solid silver – the frame, the core and the pin system. The pin is marked “935” for the silver content and “R-S” and “L/58” for the company of Rudolf Souval, Wien.

Onl very few examples known. The piece offered here is published in "The Iron Cross 1. Class" by Dietrich Maerz/Georg Simson, Richmond, 2010, page 360. Another example is published in "Das Eiserne Kreuz von 1813 bis heute" by Harald Geißler, Norderstedt, 1995, page 152.

An extremely rare example in excellent condition. Comes with beautiful  black presentation case embossed with an iron cross.
