49 Navy Veteran's Badge for 24 Years of Service (Ordre des Deux Epées)

 Decoration for members of the Navy from the period of the Ancien Regime, late 18th century. The anchor underlaid by the two crossed swords.

Bronze, with original red cloth backing. Back smoothly worked. Officer's and NCO's version with suspension ring.

Very rare version. Only very few Navy awards known in collections today.
