89 Military Merit Cross 2nd Class with War Decoration.

 Silver - gilt and enamelled, on the original ribbon section. In the lower arm of the cross the inscription: "R. MARSCHALL". In the eyelet old Austrian silver hallmark (Diana's head) and maker's mark "R.S." of Souval, Vienna.

The medallion on the reverse with dedication engraving: "Unserem /Kommandanten / 17.8.1915".

Enamel chips and scratches in the white enamel of the reverse arms of the cross due to wear. Privately regilded. Overall a beautifully preserved and rare dedication piece.
