110 Order of Charles III.

 Knight's Breast Badge from the 1st half of the 19th century. Gold and enamel. On the beautiful original ribbon with sewn ribbon bow.

The wreath is movable and finely chiselled. The medallion with the applied Madonna is especially vividly worked. The lapel medallion with painted cipher and the order's motto inlaid in gold foil: "VIRTUTI ET MERITO".

A very fine example in excellent condition.
