198 German Eagle Order - Merit Cross with Star (1st Type).
Set of the 1st model, 1937 - 1939. The neck badge silver - gilt and enamelled. On the sewn original - neck ribbon with fastening loops. Silver stamp "900" in the lower arm of the cross.
The breast star 2nd model (from 1937). Silver, the overlays gilded and enamelled. Reverse fitted with pin with silver stamp "900" and maker's mark "21" of Godet & Co, Berlin. On the reverse 2 hollow rivets.
In it's beautiful and rare original case of issue of the 1st model made of red imitation leather, the lid with gold embossed national eagle. Inner part with black velvet inlay. The inner lid with white artificial silk lining and the gold embossed inscription: "Order of the German Eagle / Cross of Merit with Star".
Very beautiful and rare ensemble in best quality and very good condition.
