 Non-ferrous metal finish. The wreath silver-plated, the eagle patinated in tinted silver. Reverse fitted with pin. Maker's mark on the reverse: "C.E.JUNCKER / BERLIN SW". Fastened with two rivets.

In rare original case of issue , the lid with gold embossed inscription in fracture script: "Segel - Flugzeugführer - Abzeichen". Interior with dark blue velvet inlay, or artificial silk lining. Hinge and press stud magnetic.

Small abrasion on the lower left side of the lid, otherwise very fine condition.

Rare in the original case.
