93 Poland: Monastery Order of the Roman Catholic Church.

Neck Badge from the middle of the 18th century. Bronze - fire-gilt. The applied Polish eagle in particularly sculptural design enamelled in white. The plumage in enamel painting. Medallion with saint figure largely rubbed off.

Particularly fine early example of the order introduced from 1744 and earlier by the Roman Catholic State Church of Poland. Each district of the Church of Poland had its own decoration of the Order.

Signs of wear and enamel chipping due to age, but overall in beautiful condition and very rare in this early version.
