268 Army General's Visor Hat.

 Field-grey cloth with yellow cellophane thread piping ( frayed on the reverse side at the lower edge due to wear). Green waistband with applied gilt oak wreath cockade in gilt light metal finish. Gilt metal cap eagle. Cap cord also in cellophane finish on gilt light metal buttons. Embossed black lacquer visor.

With original light green artificial silk lining with cellophane harness and brown leather sweatband perforated at the front with maker's mark "Erel" (rubbed).

Very nice original, much worn general's visor from the last years of World War II.
