233 War Merit Cross 1st Class 1939.

Non-ferrous metal version, silver-plated. The swastika and the edges finely polished. Reverse fitted with pin with maker's mark "'4" (Steinhauer & Lück).

In original case of issue , the lid with silver embossed KVK. Interior with black spray felt lining and white artificial silk lining.

The case with light traces of use, the KVK in absolute mint condition.
