182 Russian Cavalry Officer's Sword.

Gilt hilt with bakelite grip. On the reverse side of the pommel a crowned cipher of Tsar Nicholas II. Russian maker's mark on the underside of the quillons.

Triple fullered single-edged blade, blued in the upper third and with fine etched decoration on both sides showing mounted soldiers, as well as the Russian double-headed eagle and the cipher of Tsar Nicholas II.

The maker's mark "ALEX COPPEL SOLINGEN" on the ricasso on the front, inscribed "EISENHAUER" on the reverse. Blade with slight signs of corrosion due to age, but overall in fine condition.

Polished iron scabbard on two suspension rings.

Length approx. 105 cm.
